A leading research and development organisation based in Woking, Surrey are continuously investing heavily into their development departments. They are currently recruiting for a range of engineering jobs across the business and have multiple Hardware Design Engineer jobs available!
In the Hardware design team of this global technology business you will be designing and developing electronics for Electronic Control Units for the company’s motorsport, automotive and aerospace customers.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Hardware Design Engineer job:
- You will be involved in the full development cycle from specification, design, schematic capture, through to manufacture and assembly
- Work closely with a multi-disciplined team of engineers including systems engineers, software engineers etc
- Take designs from concept through to market, whilst maintaining both the pace and accuracy expected from a high-performance team
Key skills and experience required for the Senior Hardware Design Engineer job:
- Experience in analogue and digital circuit design (some power electronics experience would be beneficial)
- Proven understanding of EMC
- Experience of speaking with customers to update on design work would be advantageous
