Senior PCB Design Engineer – Edinburgh – Remote/Hybrid
New Senior PCB Design Engineer job available at one of Scotland’s Top 10 Engineering Companies.
The company in question designs and manufactures advanced technology for a range of industries such as medical and industrial applications. Previous medical devices include AI based surgical equipment and robotic prosthetics. Industrial applications include 3D printed additive manufacturing devices and next-generation Semiconductor manufacturing devices.
Due to project expansions, they are looking for a Senior PCB Design Engineer to join their very bright team of engineers and product experts.
What you’ll be doing….
+ Working as part of a few different project teams for PCB design and board bring up.
+ Working through the entire development life cycle of PCB boards, from design, implementation, manufacturing, and maintenance and testing.
What key skills do you need…
You will need to have strong experience with circuit board design and layout which include:
+ Expertise that allow you to understand schematics and decipher the best layout options available.
+ Ideally you will have experience working with Altium and/or Cadence Allegro
+ Ideally you will have experience taking PCB design specifications and converting these into bespoke design projects.
This role is hybrid but can be as much as 4 days from home. It is advertised as remote as the working days are negotiable. As long as you are able to get into their office at least 1 day a week or 1 week a month etc please apply.
