SUMMARY OF ROLE
- The Senior Project Manager will oversee high-priority projects (i.e., those needing considerable resources and high levels of functional integration).
- Acting as an entrepreneur to drive project profitability and delivering tangible results in line with economic assumptions up to the close stage gate.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management and oversight of an entire portfolio of projects
- Leading Cross Functional Teams (CFTs) of representatives from R&D, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations
- Accountability for all aspects of the project over the entire project life (initiate, plan, execute, control, and close)
- Interfacing with all areas affected by the project, including end users, distributors, and vendors
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables
- Communicating with company executives about the status of specific projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education and Qualifications
Essential
- Educated to degree level (ideally in a STEM field, e.g., Electrical. IT or Mechanical engineering)
- Recognized project management qualification, for example:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)®
- APM PMQ or above (or IPMA equivalents)
- PRINCE2® Practitioner
Desirable
- Post-graduate business qualification e.g. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Experience
Essential
- Minimum of five years of Project Management experience in a technical field
- Full project lifecycle delivery using hybrid Project Management Methodologies
Desirable
- Experienced user of Enterprise planning, change and configuration management tools
- Experience with New Product Development and Manufacturing projects
- Organisational Change and Business Improvement Experience
- Experience of working with a PMO
Languages
