Main Purpose of Job
To undertake and complete research, product and/or bespoke development projects of varied scope and complexity, to schedule and within agreed resource constraints.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Develop and code software.
· Develop documentation and training material conforming to relevant Company standards and procedures.
· Undertake functional testing and validation of developed code, documentation and training materials,
· Investigate customer product use scenarios, reproducing issues and resolving these.
· Contribute to project planning, identifying and advising on technical tasks to be undertaken and the resources required for the project.
· Understand customer requirements and translate into technical requirements.
· Produce designs and specifications to meet customer requirements
· Support other parts of Nexor (sales, marketing etc) by providing technical information or assisting in obtaining research and/or development contracts.
· Identify and participate in research activities to assist in advancing department ways of working.
· Provide third line post-sales support.
Additional Responsibilities
· Provide support to other areas and key tasks within the business as required.
· Actively contribute to business improvement.
Constraints
May be required to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
May be required to travel to customer site.
