Senior Software Engineer – Wireless Communications opportunity within a world-famous technology and engineering organisation in Chobham, Surrey.
A global leader in the electric vehicle and automotive technology are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer – Wireless Communications to their growing software team in Chobham, Surrey.
As a Senior Software Engineer – Wireless Communications you will be responsible for the design and development of high performance, scalable software solutions for various areas within the business. Working in multiple environments including networking, cloud and hardware, you will work closely with the wider engineering team to meet customer demands.
Skill requirements for the Senior Software Engineer – Wireless Communications role:
- Experience in developing Python applications
- A solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and WAN/LAN
- Low-level or embedded Linux experience
- Exposure to development on cloud platforms
- An understanding of Ethernet networking advantageous
- C programming experience for Linux device drivers/kernels advantageous
- Cloud software development advantageous
