Senior UI Design Engineer – JavaScript Opportunity available in Edinburgh, Scotland.
A market leading organisation are looking to add a Senior UI Design Engineer – JavaScript to their growing R&D team in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The Senior UI Design Engineer will develop state-of-the-art telecommunications products and systems which are sold globally. You will join a business with over 30 years’ experience in the industry, and around 80 employees. Due to recent success, the company are looking to add talented software engineers and developers to their team in Edinburgh, Scotland.
As a Senior UI Design Engineer – JavaScript, you will be responsible for assisting the Software Team in developing the company's new and existing software, in particular cutting-edge user interfaces and User Experience features in web environments. You will work in languages such as JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML5, and CSS on a daily basis alongside a host of supporting tools. You will work within a multi-disciplined engineering environment working closely with electronics and embedded systems engineers.
Ideally the Senior UI Design Engineer will have:
- Experience in Angular, AngularJS or React
- Degree in relevant engineering/IT discipline
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and other scripting languages
- Experience in OO (Object-Orientated) techniques
- Experience in C# or Python is also advantageous
