A market leader in detection instrumentation based in Sheffield are looking for a Software Engineer – C#.Net to join their development team based at a brand new facility in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. You will be working on products and software that are used in the Life Science and Medical sectors.
The group have sites both in the UK and overseas and the Software Engineer – C#.Net will be joining a passionate and dedicated team based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, with a strong customer focus, enabling them to turn requirements into solutions.
Key responsibilities of the Software Engineer – C#.Net job:
- Architecture, design, development and testing of current and future functionality/products
- Write new code, improve existing code and carry out code reviews
- Work within an existing team and help to drive the project forward
- Liaise with customers over requirements for new development, sometimes visiting customer sites to understand their needs
Key skills/experience required for the Software Engineer – C#.Net job:
- Proven commercial experience with C# .Net
- Experience of object-oriented coding principles and design patterns
- Experience with databases such as MSSQL and Oracle
- Ability to communicate with customers and other departments clearly
