A leading research & development organisation based in Watford, Hertfordshire are seeking a skilled and experienced Embedded Software Team Leader to join their continuously growing team. You will get the opportunity to create complex electro-mechanical products / systems for aerospace, medical, and telecommunications industries.
As the Embedded Software Team Leader you will be responsible for leading a team of technically skilled software engineers. You will be offering your support in the design and development of new product ranges whilst liasing with other departments within the business. The role will suit someone with a good knowledge of embedded electronics and software
Skills & Experience required for the Embedded Software Team Leader:
- Degree in Engineering with an embedded software element.
- Hands-on experience in embedded software development, using C programming at bare metal level as well as on Linux platforms
- Development of network communications such as TCP/IP, UDP
- Technically lead the delivery of multiple complex software development projects from design through to release
