NATURE AND SCOPE
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will be responsible for the effect running of tooling and non-tooling-based activities, from start to the end of the project, ensuring they are delivered within the set time scale. Using your technical engineering skill set, understand constraints and benefits within the project to maximise the effectiveness and understand potential cost saving opportunities involved in the project. Key communication with the Commodity Manager to highlight any risks and understand key deliverables. Offering general technical support and guidance to the Procurement department by supporting to push time scales of all ongoing projects.

- Understanding of tool design and relevant experience
- Ability to work closely with suppliers to achieve a common goal
- Ability to define and work to processes across a CFT
- Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities within the business and with suppliers
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience in injection moulding, high pressure die casting, pressings and other mechanical processes
- Highly organised and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel both foreign and domestic
