A market leading organisation are looking to add an Technical Project Manager – R&D / Engineering to join their growing R&D team in Edinburgh.
My client develop state-of-the-art technology and their next generation products are being sold all over the world. With year on year growth they are investing heavily in to the research & development team in Edinburgh.
As the Technical Project Manager – R&D / Engineering you will focus on leading and managing complex projects and programmes from initial concept through to manufacture. You will be the interface between the client and the R&D team, whilst managing budgets, timescales and ensure projects meet specification.
This Project Management job will provide you with the opportunity to work on the development of next generation products
Technical Project Manager – R&D / Engineering – Skills / Requirements needed:
- A technical background in hardware / electronics or mechanical engineering
- A successful track record in managing R&D / engineering projects from concept through to manufacture.
- An understanding of New Product Introduction and design processes
- Experience within the semiconductor industry would be beneficial not essential
- If you have obtained a project management qualification – Prince2, AMP, PMP, or similar would be beneficial but not essential.
