Exciting new Product Test Engineer role based in Abingdon!
Our client based in Abingdon is part of a group of organisations dedicated to providing safety, health and environmental technologies to support organisations across multiple industries. They focus on gas detection by understanding current and future market requirements and responding accordingly. Their vision is to protect people and the environment from gas hazards by providing both single and multi gas monitors, enabling personal and larger-scale monitoring.
The Product Test Engineer job will be responsible for: –
- Functionally test prototype products for R&D
- Validate and verify R&D outputs
- Provide support across all engineering departments, production, quality and production test.
To Apply for the Product Test Engineer job you must have the following
- Proven experience in testing electro-mechanical products, this could be any of the following – Environmental, Vibration, Electronics testing, Software testing, blackbox.
- Experience supporting R&D in prototype stages/verification/validation.
- Ideally 3 years + experience working in industry.
