A leading company known as a world leader in gases, engineering and healthcare operating in more than 100 countries across the globe. The company is committed to technologies and products are looking for a Transport Manager to join there site near Washington in County Durham.

Key responsibilities of the Transport Manager job:

• You will be managing a team of drivers involved in the integrated cylinder business, ensuring key performance Indicators are achieved, including service and financial targets
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory and safety standards
• You'll provide internal transport services in accordance with the company policy
• Managing branch transport costs, taking corrective action where cost, budget or volume allow, while developing continuous improvement schemes will be an important part of your role

Key skills required for the Procurement Manager:

• You should have a high level of personal integrity
• Certificate of Professional Competence
• You will have at least 3-5 years experience within a similar role
