Job Description

This is a dynamic role working on brand new solutions for networking industrial actuators from initial conception through to the production line. You will be a figure of authority on the team and have the ability to impact the way projects progress and succeed.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager for Digital Systems, you will work as part of a medium sized team whilst interacting and collaborating with the wider engineering function of the business.

In this role you will be responsible for investigating, developing and designing the hardware through the whole development process, from influencing specifications right through to the finished product. You may also be involved with low level firmware work to test the hardware which will keep each day varied.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a team player able to demonstrate a strong level of initiative and be a self-motivated problem solver.

Experience Requirements

• Experience designing electronic hardware within products
• Demonstratable knowledge of the full product development lifecycle
• Experience leading projects and reviewing/ signing off the work of others
