Logistics and Operations Operative (Part Time)
Job overview
This role is responsible for the shipping of products, associated tasks, and general routine activities to support the general operation of the Company.
There is a mix of manual and PC based activities.
Part Time – 14 hours per week
Key responsibilities
Pick, pack and ship products ensuring they arrive undamaged and in a timely manner with accurate shipping paperwork
Maintain hard copy and electronic records in accordance with Company requirements
Act as the main goods-in contact; checking, recording and distributing as applicable
Ensure the warehouse area is kept in a clean, tidy and safe state
Maintain the Engineering stock cupboard ensuring ERP records are accurate and up to date
Maintain up-to-date stock control records and complete periodic stock checks as required
Maintain up-to-date asset control records and complete periodic checks as required
Maintain general stock requirements (such as packing material, paper stock, printer cartridges, paper towels and washing up liquid) and take appropriate action
Undertake any other duties that are appropriate to this role
