NEW JUNIOR PHYSICIST – EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN JOB AVAILABLE IN WORCESTER, WORCESTERSHIRE
A very exciting research and development company that develop highly-complex scientific instrumentation for security applications are rapidly expanding their team. We are seeking a bright Junior Physicist – Experimental Design to join their team in Worcester, Worcestershire.
As a Junior Physicist – Experimental Design you will be involved in providing a scientific input to the design, build and test of experimental equipment. Depending on your strengths as a Physicist you will work on experimental design, experiment executions, data analysis, or modelling.
Skills / Experience required:
- To have obtained a relevant Physics, Physical Chemistry, or similar degree (2:1 or 1st class).
- Experience in experimental design in an academic research or commercial environment.
- Data management and analytical skills.
- Exposure to mass spectrometry, ion mobility spectrometry, microscopy, X-Ray, or similar technologies.
- Academic qualification to PhD level would be very beneficial.
