The company: An excited opportunity has opened for a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer to join our top manufacturer Client based near Petersfield in Hampshire. They are leaders in designing systems and products for variety of industries including automotive and healthcare industries!
The Job: As a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer you will be able to work efficiently and effectively within the Design Department in Hampshire, managing multiple projects and prioritising workloads. You'll take concepts and realise these into 2D CAD drawings, ideally using AutoCAD or Solidworks. This role is suited to a junior level or graduate mechanical design engineer.
Skills required for CAD Designer Engineer role near Petersfield, Hampshire;
- At least 1 year of professional or academic experience as CAD Designer.
- Basic 2D CAD design skills using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Ability to design projects from scratch to manufacture.
- Exposure to CAD, PLM and MRP software.
- Able to read engineering drawings and extract information from data sheets
- Great communication skills as you will be part of multiskilled team
