NEW MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE NEAR BIGGLESWADE, BEDFORDSHIRE

A leading research & development organisation based near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire are seeking a bright and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their continuously growing team. You will get the opportunity to create complex electro-mechanical products within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with software and hardware engineers to design components, complex assemblies and enclosures for electro-mechanical devices. You will be provided with opportunities to progress within the business.

Skills & Experience required:

• Experience in the design of high precision products designing to very low tolerances
• Good knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with 3D CAD design (SolidWorks is the package used)
• An understanding of electronic components / electronic enclosures.
