We are currently looking for a Contracts Power Electronics Design Engineer with an expert knowledge of Power supply design for an industrial project based in the South East of the UK.
If you know how to design AC-DC or DC-DC switch-mode power supplies, have experience designing using various topologies such as flyback, push-pull, buck and boost and have a flair for analogue and digital electronics design then this Contract Power Electronics Engineer job would be perfect for you.
Essential Skills/Experience as a Contract Power Electronics Engineer:
- Design switch mode power supplies up to 5kW for industrial applications.
- SMPS design ideally within the Industrial sector. Rail, Defene, Space, Aerospace, Medical would be of interest if it’s not too low power.
- Medium to High Power SMPS design experience. AC/DC or DC/DC (500w-5kW)
- Must have designed switch-mode power supplies from scratch.
