Mechanical Design Manager job available in Ledbury, Herefordshire (Gloucestershire / Worcestershire border)
A very exciting research and development organisation are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Manager to join their team in Ledbury, Herefordshire. This company develops complex electro-mechanical systems for power conversion technology, they are part of large organisation with fantastic growth plans.
As the Mechanical Design Manager, you will lead a small mechanical design engineering team, whilst providing technical ownership of projects, ensuring efficient, safe and quality delivery.
Skills / Experience required:
- To have a technical background in 3D Mechanical Design Engineering, ideally with exposure to electromechanical products / systems.
- Experience with design analysis (e.g. CFD, FEA, GD&T, etc.).
- Previous experience in team leading or managing mechanical design engineers.
- Ability to draft, review and evaluate engineering specifications / drawings.
- Exposure to packaging electronics would be beneficial to your application.
