My client specialises in delivering bespoke components which are sold into the medical and avionics sectors.
As a Process Engineer – Chemicals, you will be responsible for supporting the Production Manager in all process improvement projects across the business and to assist with improving the chemical and plating departments in making them as efficient as possible.
Main Responsibilities for the Process Engineer – Chemicals job:
- Assist in implementation and documenting of systems required for the correct functioning and continuous improvement of the chemical and plating production departments
- Support process development projects throughout the company.
- Work closely with chemical suppliers and plating operators to investigate the root cause of plating production issues
- Define process limits based on experimentation, research, and lab analysis
Skills / Experience required for this Process Engineer – Chemicals job:
- Degree in chemical engineering
- Be passionate about solving complex technical problems and learn on the job
- Good academic understanding in process engineering.
