New Systems Engineer job available based in Luton, Bedfordshire
One of the world's leading aerospace engineering organisations are seeking a Systems Engineer to join their R&D team in Luton, Bedfordshire. The company are going through a period of expansion across multiple locations over the UK and the role may involve occasional travel to some of the other sites.
As a Systems Engineer you will be involved in the whole design lifecycle and you will ideally have experience in aerospace/defence, space, nuclear, automotive or transportation sectors.
Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer job:
- Understanding systems requirements, breakdown of requirements to sub-systems
- Production of engineering management plans
- Support generation of test strategy, test plans & test documentation
- Working closely with hardware, software & firmware teams to achieve project milestones/deliverables
- Participation in design reviews
Requirements of the Systems Engineer job:
- Experience of requirements management
- Systems integration and/or test experience of complex, high-reliability systems
- Experience of verification and validation (V&V) activities to achieve certification and acceptance
- Previous experience of RF or ECM/EW systems would be beneficial
