Look no further… my client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of electric motors and integrated controls. They are looking for a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to work at their flagship in Newtown, Wales. Their motors are used mainly for industrial applications in various industries. Anywhere you have an electric motor driving a system.
This includes renewable power generation, air purifying systems and mining applications. Their technology is now being picked up by automotive companies and other transport systems.
Nonetheless, they develop a range of devices from 100watts to 500kw and their engineers have the chance to work on everything!
As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer you will in a team of 50+ hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to develop state of the art technology. This Junior Embedded Software Engineer will be hands on in development. This job is a fantastic opportunity to work for an organisation that offers clear career progression.
Skills & Experience required for the Junior Embedded Software Engineer:
- Degree educated in relevant engineering discipline
- A good understanding of many aspects of commercial embedded software development, throughout the complete product lifecycle.
- Strong embedded C, including portable ANSI C99 and newer.
- Software development targeting embedded microcontrollers and peripherals.
- Familiarity with communicating and working closely with hardware teams.
