Junior Technical Support Engineer, opportunity within a world-famous technology and engineering organisation in Cobham, Surrey.
A global leader in the electric vehicle and automotive technology are looking to add a Graduate or Junior Technical Support Engineer, to their growing team in Cobham, Surrey.
As a Junior Technical Support Engineer, you will provide second line technical support within a multidisciplinary team. Responding to and managing raised tickets, you will identify and share defects with the wider team and escalating issues to third line support when necessary. You will support first line support engineers from the company site in Cobham, Surrey and when necessary attend customer sites to identify and address technical issues.
Sills required for the Junior Technical Support Engineer role:
- Degree level education in engineering, software, mathematical or scientific discipline
- Good knowledge of networking protocols
- An understanding of software or electronics testing
- Experience with Linux servers or operating systems
- Knowledge of distributed systems advantageous
- Previous level 1 or level 2 technical experience also advantageous
