NEW FIELD-BASED TEST & SERVICE ENGINEER JOB

A very well-established scientific instrumentation company that designs and manufacturers complex electro-mechanical systems are seeking a Field-based Test & Service Engineer to join their growing organisation. This job will be 50% in the field, 50% office based in Thame, Oxfordshire.

You will be responsible for testing, factory acceptance, site acceptance, and installation of complex electro-mechanical systems for clients in Europe, the Middle-East, and Asia. You will gain the opportunity to spend 4-8 weeks in countries / major cities across the globe. This job is very well suited to a test / service engineer who is excited to travel and work abroad independently.

Skills / Experience required:

• A strong understanding of mechanical and electronic engineering.
• Capability of working with limited supervision and making wellinformed decisions.
• Previous experience in testing / servicing electromechanical machinery, ideally offsite / field based.
• Comfortable with customer interaction.

This Field-based Test & Service job will require you to be available for international travel within short notice.
