Quality Inspector – Electronics

My client has pioneered the design of innovative x-ray generators and controls for almost 40 years. Operating from a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility in Surrey, UK and with sales and service centres in the USA, China & Germany and with a worldwide network of distributors.
They currently require an experienced Quality Inspector to join their operations team. You will have responsibility for all aspects of quality inspection including the inspection of both electronic and mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector– Electronics
- Conduct Final Inspection, ensuring that production goods are inspected to the required standard
- Ensure all material that is non-conformant is rejected
- Liaise with Production Manager, Quality Department, Production and Test Staff on all issues relating to units that fail final inspection
Key Requirements for the Quality Inspector – Electronics
- Quality Inspection experience (essential)
- Ability to read drawings & specifications and relate them to the product to determine conformity
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles (preferred)
