NEW HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY JOB IN NOTTINGHAM, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
A well-established technology company in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire are looking for a Head of Technology – IoT / SaaS to provide technical leadership to their development team. The development team are working on the industry-leading technical solutions that combine safety technology and smart infrastructure.
The Head of Technology – IoT / SaaS will be ensuring they have the right teams (both in-house and outsourced), processes and technologies in place to deliver the company’s goals.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Technology – IoT / SaaS job:
- Set and deliver technical strategy
- Bring knowledge of industry best practices and reinforce within the business
- Collaborate with Product Manager to ensure focus on valuable outcomes
- Ensure adoption and use of the most appropriate technologies
- Support the use of Agile frameworks and methodologies
Key skills and experience required for the Head of Technology – IoT / SaaS job:
- Proven technical background in developing and maintaining IoT and SaaS solutions
- Knowledge of tools and processes for the design and development of cloud and IoT architectures
- Experience of integrating with several cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google)
- Understanding of Information Security best practice
- Background working in a SCRUM environment
- Strong and motivational team leader
