A leading research & development organisation, who are in the process of expanding to new offices near Chorleywood, are seeking a capable RF Design Engineer – Satellite Communications to join their growing engineering team. You would be joining a team of 130+ employees with close to 40+ years in the industry.
The RF Design Engineer – Satellite Communications will work on active and passive circuit design for a range of RF & Microwave products over the spectrum of IF, L-band, C band, X band to Ka bands. you will work in a multi-disciplined team which includes 6 other RF Engineers.
The ideal RF Design Engineer will have the following experience:
- Current RF / Microwave design experience, ideally with experience in developing 1GHz up to 30GHz products / systems.
- Any experience with the following frequencies would be useful: IF, L-band, C band, X band to Ka bands.
- Exposure to Amplifiers, Switches, Frequency Converters and passive networks such as Couplers, Filters, Bias Tees, etc.
- To have an understanding of satellite communication technologies.
- Experience with design, development, simulation and testing.
