Senior RF IC Design Engineer – MMIC job in Reading, Berkshire
A very exciting opportunity has arisen with a research and development organisation who are investing heavily into new product development. This organisation are in the process of developing satellite communications technology and require talented engineers to join their site in Reading, Berkshire to assist with the development of new, innovative products. As part of this growth they are looking for a Senior RF IC Design Engineer – MMIC to lead the RF system architecture design and develop MMIC strategy.
Skills / experience required for the Senior RF IC Design Engineer – MMIC job:
- Experience in microwave circuits, MMIC development, SATCOM terminals, phased arrays, signal processing, systems engineering and RF engineering
- Experience with transistor level IC design and test in the Ku/Ka frequency bands (in technology nodes such as CMOS, CMOS-SOI, SiGe, GaAs, GAN)
- Knowledge of a broad range of IC technology nodes and how they impact performance and cost
- Experience in VSAT terminal design and / or phased arrays
- Experience in RF system architecture design and simulation
- Knowledge of circuit topologies and antenna design
