Emulation Engineer – FPGA / ASIC job available in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire (remote working available). 

A very exciting opportunity has been created within a rapidly expanding and innovative research and development organisation that design and manufacture semiconductor RF systems for the satellite communications industry. We are looking for a very capable Emulation Engineer – FPGA / ASIC to join the team and be part of ground-breaking innovation. 

This company are working with some of the biggest names within SatComs and telecommunications technology. They have the financial backing of world-renowned investors, and are in the process adding high-calibre engineering specialists to their development teams. This Emulation Engineer – FPGA / ASIC is for someone who wants to be part of something truly special. 

The role of the Emulation Engineer – FPGA / ASIC is to work closely with RF and IC Development experts to manage all aspects of ASIC and FPGA emulation flow. 

Skills / experience required for this Emulation Engineer – FPGA / ASIC job: 

• Strong experience in FPGA and ASIC emulation. Taking projects from design through to manufacture. 
• Design, Validation or Verification experience with ASIC, FPGA, or DSP technology. 
• Exposure to Verilog, VHDL or SystemVerilog. 
• Exposure to  digital modulation techniques (e.g. PSK, QAM, OFDMA, etc.)
• Basic programming / scripting experience.
