The company have been established for more than 30 years and boast a rich history of technological innovation. The company are now seeking to add an experienced Engineering Team Lead – Cyber Security, to their growing team.
The Engineering Team Lead – Cyber Security role:
Within this role, you will be responsible for the day to day and people management of a diverse engineering team as they work across a wide variety of technical projects. Due to the continued growth and success of the business, they require a candidate with previous engineering management or team lead experience to manage around 15 – 20 members of staff. Working in partnership with the senior management team, you will help to devise and apply strategic measures to promote a positive and productive working environment, you’ll also be involved in:
- Team and Individual performance management
- Providing your input and expertise to senior management regarding the direction and requirements of projects against the company’s business plan
- Facilitating the growth of the engineering team, assisting in recruitment
- Implementing strategic technical objectives in a software engineering environment
Requirements for the Engineering Team Lead – Cyber Security role:
- Previous experience in line managing or leading software and IT teams
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- The ability to work effectively with both direct reports and senior management to achieve departmental and company-wide objectives
- Experience in performing regular and annual performance related reviews and implementing individual Personal Development Plans or PDPs
- An appreciation of or interest in, the cyber security sector as a whole
