Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Team Management: Guide and empower the Engineering Team daily, igniting their potential for brilliance.
Product Reliability: Ensure the unwavering reliability of existing products, resolving field issues, and supporting service bulletins.
New Product Development: Lead the way in managing new product developments, meticulously overseeing timelines and costs.
Safety and Design Control: Uphold company procedures for safety, design change control, and ERP accuracy.
Collaborative Spirit: Collaborate seamlessly with other departments such as Purchasing, Quality, and Production to coordinate design changes effectively.
Global Cooperation: Foster collaboration with international business units, exploring joint developments and product enhancements.
Product Compliance: Own product compliance, ensuring all offerings meet specific safety and performance standards.
Budget Preparation: Assist in the preparation of the Engineering department’s budget.
Skills and Abilities to Thrive:
Engineering Expertise: Possess a minimum of 5 years of Engineering Design experience, ideally with a focus on electronic/electrical systems and some mechanical acumen.
