We are working in partnership with a world-leading engineering company in Malvern, Worcestershire, which designs and develops industrial test equipment for a variety of different industries. The company provides bespoke products and applications which improve the manufacturing processes of hundreds of companies around the world and they are looking to recruit for a versatile Manufacturing Quality Engineer.
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring compliance for all aspects of the Quality Management System, determining and implementing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications, ensuring that manufacturing and related processes comply with the ISO 9001 ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards and conducting internal and external audits.
Other duties for the Manufacturing Quality Engineer include:
- Dealing with; returns, rejects, and warranties as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers
- Producing high quality reports in response to customer returns and/or warranties
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure that the Company’s material requirements are met in full
- Providing support to the Commercial, Engineering and Purchasing departments
- Improving and maintaining standards for health, safety and environment
- Recording, analysing and distributing Quality Assurance statistical information
- Proactively support and ensure that Health & Safety always comes first.
Experience required for the Manufacturing Quality Engineer:
- QA/QS background within manufacturing
- Knowledge and experience of managing Quality Management Systems to ISO standards
- A recognised qualification in Quality Assurance or mechanical engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of computer literacy
