Assembly Operator

My client has pioneered the design of innovative x-ray generators and controls for almost 40 years. Operating from a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility in Surrey, UK and with sales and service centres in the USA, China & Germany and with a worldwide network of distributors.
They currently require an experienced Assembly Operator to join their operations team. You will be responsible for the assembly of a range of complex wiring harnesses, this includes soldering small parts.
Key Responsibilities for the Assembly Operator job – Surrey
- Assembly of complex wiring harnesses.
- Quality checks on assemblies and components.
- Ensure correct compliance with documentation by reviewing engineering drawings
Key Requirements for the Assembly Operator
- Experience in assembling wiring harnesses
- Ability to read drawings & specifications and relate them to the product to determine conformity
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles (preferred)
- Strong experience in soldering needed
