My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Configuration Management Specialist to support the development and implementation of a cutting-edge Configuration Management Strategy across our global organization.

???? Position Summary: As a key member of their team, you’ll report directly to the Head of Configuration Management and play a pivotal role in transitioning their group from silo document control functions to a cohesive Global Configuration Management Group. Your primary focus will be on Asia, where you’ll drive the development and deployment of Configuration Management policies and practices.

???? Key Responsibilities as a Configuration Management Specialist:

• Spearhead the transition from existing tools to the state-of-the-art SAP S4 Hana ERP system.
• Develop and implement Configuration Management Policies and practices, ensuring seamless post ECO implementation, efficient product transfers, and effective material disposition.
• Provide expert analysis of ECRs, recommending proper dispositions, cut-in approaches, and effectivity dates to product and part planners, purchasing, materials, and production teams.
• Chair Post ECO Planning/Management Meetings, ensuring timely and effective disposition of materials based on approved changes.
• Drive process improvement strategies for Change Management, including Rework/ECR/ECO review and routing through S4 Hana.

???? Key Skills and Experience as a Configuration Management Specialist:

• A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Configuration Management or Quality roles.
• At least 5 years’ involvement in Process Improvement initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing controls, including Supply-Demand, Inventory control, Part Masters, Bills of Materials, Engineering drawings, Change Orders, Document Control, and Work Instructions.
• Solid understanding of Product Development Lifecycles and Factory Processes.
• Proven expertise in project management, spanning global organizations.
• Track record of developing and implementing business-critical processes.
• Strong analytical and multitasking skills, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues with limited supervision.
