Once in a lifetime opportunity to work with a incredible EV Charging company based in the UK. This position can be fully remote or based in Cambridge. It is outside of IR35 for now (until HMRC change the requirements again!).
We are looking for a Power Electronics expert with electric vehicle charging experience to manage the development of a niche system that is set to take the market by storm.
This is for either a contractor / consultant or someone looking for a full time position that offers an opportunity for equity and a chance to be a big part of the companies journey.
You’ll be particularly focused on the integration and design of charging systems; taking ownership of delivering each project from design to market ready products, working with their manufacturing partner to develop the best in class product portfolio for global customers.
We are looking for someone with the following skills:
- HV Power electronics, including battery management
- HV Power electronics simulation experience
- Hardware design simulation calculations, including tolerance, worst case, derating, EMC, thermal simulation
- Detailed knowledge of gate drivers
- Detailed knowledge of power switching
- Knowledge of power semiconductors; particularly MOSFETs
- Associated regulatory affairs
