New Contract Technical Author job available in Cambridge
A leading research and development organisation, based in Cambridge are seeking a bright and experienced Contract Technical Author to join their expanding engineering division.
As the Technical Author you will support production and design teams and be expected to write service manuals and quick start guides within a manufacturing and engineering environment.
Skills / experience required for the Contract Technical Author job:
- A good understanding of Mechanical CAD drawings, ideally with exposure to SolidWorks or a similar CAD package.
- Previous experience as a Technical Author within an engineering / manufacturing organisation, writing technical documentation and user manuals, etc.
- If you have written manuals for aerospace, defence, or security industries this would be beneficial but not essential.
This is a great opportunity for a Contract Technical Author to work for a well-established and thriving technology business.
This contract will be inside IR35.
