CONTROL SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ENGINEER – PLC / SCADA JOB AVAILABLE IN NEW MALDEN, LONDON
A Control Systems Software Engineer – PLC / SCADA with eligibility to obtain SC clearance (A UK Passport holder) is required for a team in New Malden, South West London for the development of maritime control and instrumentation systems.
The Control Systems Software Engineer – PLC / SCADA will be a key member of the software team. The role will be to take customer requirements/specifications from concept through to fruition on a maritime platform management system.
Key Responsibilities of the Control Systems Software Engineer – PLC / SCADA job:
- Capture, interpret and develop customer requirements
- Produce technical documentation
- Specify, design and test solutions for PLC/SCADA control systems
- Implement PLC code from multiple design formats
- Validate software designs through analysis and test
Key skills / experience required for the Control Systems Software Engineer – PLC / SCADA job:
- Design and integration of PLC control systems and SCADA systems
- Specification and analysis of COTS equipment.
- Fieldbus configuration and implementation.
- C#/C++ Programming
- Software testing and verification
- Experience within a highly regulated industry such as defence, maritime, aerospace etc.
