The Development Engineer job we have available is located in Worthing, West Sussex and will involve working very closely with a Power Electronics team to join their progressive and successful development team.
They have seen the desire for their products rise rapidly over the last 5 years which meant that last year their turnover was just shy of $1.2 million. With the dramatic increase in orders this year, this is likely to be much higher come 2023.
Responsibilities as a Development Engineer:
- Support engineering efforts in the design, analysis and debugging of systems, products and subsystems/circuits to client specifications.
- Back the engineering team in diagnosing issues with design, field performance, reliability and test yields of products and recommend/implement improvements where necessary.
- Complete corresponding administrative documentation and paperwork.
- Undertake design work for small projects.
- Assist with new development product build activities.
- Testing and debugging new design hardware.

Qualifications needed for the Development Engineer:
- Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2 years experience within a electronics development environment.
Location
They have a very flexible working environment and can allow employees to work remotely. The main design centre is based in Worthing, UK so you will need to be able to travel here frequently for meetings.
