Do you have experience in electrical design engineering for complex machinery or systems? A very well-established business involved in the development and manufacture of highly complex laser-technology based products are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer – Control Panel Design to join their team in Bridgend, Wales.

This is a job that will offer you the opportunity to design, build, commission and test complex electrical machine and control panels. Your design work will assist in the development of industrial laser products.

The products you design are used within medical, aviation, automotive, and telecoms markets.

Skills / Experience required for this Electrical Design Engineer job:

• Previous experience in designing, building, commissioning and testing electrical machines / control panels.
• Use of an electrical drawing package, ideally ePLAN or similar.
• Exposure to Servo Amplifiers or Stepper Drive Systems.
• An understanding of risk assessments, safety standards, and safety performance.
