NEW ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – AUTOCAD JOB AVAILABLE IN ELY, CAMBRIDGESHIRE
A globally established business which has been running for 15 years is currently rapidly expanding! As part of their growth plans, they are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to assist with the design and selection of electrical equipment used for petrochemical and oil & gas related projects. You will be based in the company HQ in Ely, Cambridgeshire.
As the Electrical Design Engineer – AutoCAD you will use AutoCAD to create electrical drawings and design products / systems. This job will also involve reviewing customer specifications, ensuring best industry practice, reviewing plant layout and, preparing hazardous area drawings & calculations.
Electrical Design Engineer – AutoCAD – skills required:
- A background in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical (EPlan or similar will also be considered).
- Ability to review and existing plant layouts and hazardous area drawings.
- Prior exposure to Oil & Gas industry standards would be beneficial but not essential.
This Electrical Design Engineer – AutoCAD job is a fantastic opportunity to work for in brand new offices, walking distance from Ely railway station. This job comes with 25 days annual leave, pension, and healthcare. The working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
