NEW ELECTRONIC DESIGN JOB IN MAIDENHEAD
A well-established research and development business are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to join their site in Maidenhead.
The Electronic Design Engineer will be involved in the design and development of display and monitoring solutions. You will be joining a highly-motivated, customer focused Agile development environment. Recent graduates with a true passion for electronics will also be considered for the position!
Key responsibilities of the Electronic Design Engineer job:
- Generate innovative product concepts and solutions as well as developing existing products
- Schematic capture, simulation and PCB layout and some embedded development
- Design validation testing including internal and external EMC tests
- Specification and development of production test equipment.
- Investigate new technologies relevant to the company product range
Key skills / requirements of the Electronic Design Engineer job:
- An electronic engineering (or similar) degree, if a recent graduate, an industrial placement year would be preferred
- The ability to understand the operation of PCBs from schematics
- Be a self-starter with an analytical approach
- Any experience with infra-red detection systems, RF design, telecoms, IoT or mechatronics would be an advantage
