NEW ELECTRONIC TEST AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN DIDCOT, OXFORDSHIRE
A very exciting opportunity has come available with a leading safety and security technology company based in Didcot, Oxfordshire. This company have been running for 20 years, they have over 50 employees, and as part of their expansion plans, they require an Electronic Test and Development Engineer who can support research & development (R&D), and production teams.
This Electronic Test and Development Engineer job will primarily focus on the support of existing designs, working on improving designs, fault-finding, investigative testing, and repair for electro-mechanical products and systems.
Electronic Test and Development Engineer – Skills / experience required:
- A technical and academic background in electronic engineering.
- Ability to re-design electronics (analogue / digital)
- Ability to work on electronic faultfinding, repair and managing issues.
- Exposure to electronics / hardware and electro-mechanical products.
- Ability to support production / manufacturing / R&D.
- Cost reduction, and product obsolescence experience would be beneficial but not essential.
