A leading EV and smart energy technology business with a research and development site in Malvern, Worcestershire are expanding their design team and looking to add an Electronics Design Engineer. They are developing innovative EV charging technology that is cheaper, reliable and sustainable.
The Electronic Design engineer will be supporting the research and development of features and functions for the next generation of AC and DC electric vehicle supply equipment. The role will involve the full development process – requirements capture, design, prototype and production.
Key responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Analogue and digital circuit design
- Review of schematics, layouts, and documents
- Authoring and running of development test plans and test reports
- Support with component selection and root cause analysis of production test failures
Key skills / experience required for the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Proven experience of the full development life cycle, from requirements capture to development, detailed design and manufacture.
- Schematic capture and PCB design
