ELECTRONIC / PCB DESIGN JOB IN SANDY, BEDFORDSHIRE

A market leading organisation developing analytical instruments based in Sandy, Bedfordshire are looking for a PCB Design Engineer. The role will also involve some analogue and digital design. The successful engineer will be working on the development of complex products and developing bespoke solutions when required. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a PCB and Electronics Engineer to join a company that are renowned in their industry and take on the most technically challenging design projects.

Key responsibilities of the PCB Design Engineer job:

· Detailed design of complex, multi-layer PCBs (up to 8 layers) using Cadence package

· R&D – designing and developing new products (analogue and digital electronic design)

· Designing bespoke requirements around the core product platform

· Testing of equipment to ensure conformity to European standards, CE marking

· Knowledge of embedded software would be advantageous

· Any familiarity with stepper motor drives, the semiconductor industry or precision instrumentation would be very beneficial
