ELECTRONICS DESIGN JOB AVAILABLE IN LIVINGSTON, SCOTLAND
A successful technology business working on the development of subsea monitoring systems are seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join their R&D team in Livingston, Scotland.
The Electronics Design Engineer will be involved in development projects that are taking the building blocks for Subsea Internet of Things and enabling smart devices to extend their wireless IoT networks through water and ground, providing low cost alternatives to cables and connectors.
Key responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Full lifecycle development, from requirements analysis through to design and test of high quality and robust designs
- Both analogue and digital circuit design, including low power and low noise
- Creation of technical documentation and progress reports
Key skills / experience required for the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Proven experience of schematic capture and layout (Altium is the package used)
- Analogue design skills with low power and low noise design experience
- Experience of digital hardware design
