NEW ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN CAMBRIDGE, CAMBRIDGESHIRE
A very successful research and development organisation based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire are seeking a skilled and well-educated Electronics Design Engineer – Analogue / Digital. This company are a design and development consultancy who specialise in designing bespoke sensor and scanning equipment which is used by companies across the globe. They are continuously developing their technology and looking for new ways to improve their products. They would like an Electronics Design Engineer who can contribute to new product development.
As an Electronics Design Engineer – Analogue / Digital, you will be responsible for all aspects of hardware development, involving analogue and digital circuit design, PCB / schematic capture, and embedded programming (basic level). You will work on designing, developing, testing, and fault-finding electronics from scratch.
Skills / Experience required:
- Strong electronic circuit design experience – Analogue and Digital electronics.
- PCB development and layout experience.
- Exposure to embedded software, ideally with good embedded C programming ability.
- To have obtained a relevant Electronics Engineering degree, ideally within a Redbrick or Russell group university.
- Exposure to FPGAs, CPUs, CPLDs would be beneficial but not essential.
