ELECTRONICS TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN EDINBURGH, MIDLOTHIAN
A market leading organisation are looking to add a Electronics Test Development Engineer to join their growing R&D team in Edinburgh, Midlothian.
The Electronics Test Development Engineer will develop test cases for state-of-the-art equipment and complex measurement and monitoring products that are sold all over the world. They are market leaders in their industry and are growing year on year. Their product lines are stable and they are investing a lot of money in to new product development.
As a Electronics Test Development Engineer you will work as part of our multi-discipline product design teams to develop and execute system level tests to qualify products for launch.
The Electronics Test Development Engineer will be responsible for working with both the R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure that new and legacy hardware products can be successfully manufactured and tested. You will also be responsible for implementing design changes as a result of component obsolescence or supply chain issues.
Ideally the Electronics Test Development Engineer will have:
– Degree level in Electronics or equivalent subject.
– Proven experience of implementing test solutions for high density complex products.
– Experience developing software to verify the manufacture of hardware products – C/C++, Python, Labview
– Ideally some proven schematic design experience –preferably with OrCAD and some experience of designing PCBs
