A technology company working in the capacitive touch industry are looking for a new Embedded Firmware Test Engineer to join their R&D facility in Fareham, Hampshire.

The purpose of the Embedded Firmware Test Engineer job is to carry out touch system testing and verification, ensuring that the product works as expected and meets the customer requirements.

Key responsibilities of the Embedded Firmware Test Engineer job:

· Working with the development team to test and verify the system behaviour of the company’s touch and force controllers

· Create semi-automated ways to perform regression tests to verify continuity between firmware revisions

· Create software and hardware tools to enable structured and repeatable test processes

· EMC and environmental testing

Key skills / experience required for the Embedded Firmware Test Engineer job:

· Experience of verification testing

· Experience of hardware and software tool development for testing

· Experience of EMC testing

· Knowledge of C# would be beneficial but not essential
