A market leading electronics engineering company in Newtown, Powys is recruiting for a Embedded Software Test Engineer to join their growing R&D team. The company have close to 50 years of experience in developing their products for international markets and produce their own in -house software to communicate with their products and hardware.
As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, based in Newtown, Powys on a hybrid basis, you will utilise both manual and automation testing techniques on a range of desktop and embedded software applications. Working closely with the software development team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment and contribute to the development of world leading products.
Requirements for the Embedded Software Test Engineer role:
- 3+ years of professional testing experience across desktop, middleware or embedded software
- C# development experience
- Exposure to manual and automated testing techniques and tools
- An understanding of communication protocols or exposure to hardware/electronics advantageous
- Experience with ALM tools such as Microsoft TFS or Azure DevOps
