Overview of the role: We are looking for an EMC Simulation Engineer to join our EV team at TEIC. The post holder will be responsible for EMC simulation analysis, EMC simulation workflows and standards establishment, as well as EMC testing and rectification of EV electric drive system. The successful candidate will:
• Perform EMC simulation analysis of the electric drive system of electric vehicles, including but not limited to: main circuit simulation, PCB simulation for key signal, spatial electromagnetic field simulation, and EMC simulation on system level;
• Be familiar with the parameters and characteristics of EMC-related components, responsible for parameter-testing and analysis of key components, complete EMC simulation modeling, building EMC system-level simulation platform, improving the accuracy of the model, and guiding the selection of key EMC components (such as filters);
• Establish EMC team design capabilities, responsible for establishing EMC simulation workflows, specifications and standards within the team. According to the simulation results, guide the team to carry out EMC development, and propose design EMC rectification and optimization suggestions;
• Participate in the EMC testing and rectification of electric drive systems, help the EMC testing team to improve product EMC performance, and provide testing rectification ideas and methods;
• Support EMC test and rectification of OEM vehicles in the European market;
The successful candidate will have:
• Minimum master’s degree in Electromagnetic, Power Electronics, Electromechanical, Automation, Communication related discipline;
• Proficient in using EMC simulation software such as ANSYS HFSS/SIwave/Q3D/CST and other electromagnetic simulation software;
• Experience in circuit EMC simulation or PCB simulation, 3D structural design, etc. using EDA software such as Allegro, Pspice, Creo;
• Work experience in EMC test and rectification of Class-3 and above products are preferred;
